The curry chicken was phenomenal and the restaurant itself had a real family vibe

This was my third visit here within a month between late august and early September. First time i ordered the oxtails. My god I know oxtail is expensive meat but there is no way you justify a serving that small. I could see if it taste excellent but it was far from it. Very small pieces mostly bones with nothing in the seasoning that even hinted at it being authentic jamaican oxtail. I grew up on jamaican food in New York and have had it all over the country being a over the road truck driver and this definitely ranked in the top three worst embarrassments to real authentic jamaican cuisine. No love was used in the preparation of this plate. The rice and peas was dry af the plantain was even dry and tasteless. I figured I give them a second chance but with a different dish because I understand not all Jamaicans know what to do with oxtail so I ordered the brown stew chicken. It was mediocre at best. Once again dry with small pieces of chicken mostly bones chopped up on top of dry rice no gravy no flavor. I always try to support my people so I went in again today but this will definitely be my last time. Ordered the brown stew chicken again and this time it was worst than the last and to top it off the little girl behind the register had a stinky attitude. If you serve excellent authentic jamaican cuisine you can have an attitude we will overlook it hell in my experiences the worst the attitude the better the food but not in this case. When you are serving below average piss poor imitation jamaican food you better treat your customers better than what them little girls behind the register are.

This place has amazing food!! The customer service is outstanding!!! The ambiance of the restaurant is great! They even have games to play while enjoying your meal !! If you get the chance definitely recommend you stopping by to get a plate !!!

I got home the food had an unpleasant smell, when I took a portion of rice out it was slimy. I threw the whole thing out. Actively selling rotting food is diabolical.
