What a charming little hoagie shop! It feels like stepping into an old country store. Everything is made to order, and they even open a fresh can of tuna for your sandwich—no mass-produced tuna sitting around here. Run by a friendly mother and daughter team, the food is truly delicious. This is Delaware's hidden gem. The cheesesteaks are hand-cut and flavorful, and I highly recommend trying the Italian special, which I love to prepare at home with roasted paprika and plenty of garlic—yum! If you're looking for an old-fashioned hoagie reminiscent of your childhood, Mama Mia's is the place to go. The great taste and lovely atmosphere make it perfect for a family meal.
