Extremely expensive buffet for what is average breakfast cheap food. For a $35 breakfast buffet at a luxury property, I was expecting way more than the food being offered. This buffet shouldn?t be more than $20-25 per adult based on what you currently offer. Massive rip off. Next time we will eat somewhere else in the island.
The service is wonderful! It is pricy at $35 but it?s worth it! We ate here for 5 days and it was wonderful very morning! Do be aware of the birds if you sit outside! They will come up to your plate! Other than that very good selections of fruit, eggs, bacon and sausage. Made to order pancakes, omelet and French toast are wonderful!
Worst meal we had all week. We skipped the buffet in favor of made-to-order meals. Terribly bland **** Mary. Poached eggs might as well have been hard boiled. Lobster was so overcooked it was like chewing rubber tires. I left it on my plate. The short rib hash was decent and breakfast potatoes were good, but that's about it. Definitely not worth the $100 we paid.
Maia is a restaurant located on the JW Marriot Marco Island Resort, there is indoor and covered outdoor seating available. I visited this restaurant for the breakfast offered while staying on the resort. It was quite busy in the morning, it appeared there was quite the line. At the time I visited, the resort was not open to the public, but I do believe that has since changed. We only ate here once for breakfast during our stay. For breakfast, they offer an extensive buffet of options from pastries to cooked options such as omelets and pancakes. In addition to the buffet, you can order from a selective menu of more prepared entrees. All around a good dining experience for breakfast while staying in Marco Island. Price point for the buffet is on the higher side (closer to the $20-$40 per person range). I can?t recall the exact price when we visited.
