We came across this restaurant by chance on a drive around the area. It was a hot day and we sat out the back on the terrace, which was the most perfect setting. We had lunch there on a Sunday. The place has charm and is only a few km from the A10 highway. The starters and main dish were very good, the deserts a bit less impressive. Service was painfully slow, however.

Definitely worth the long drive if you’re around Bordeaux Cognac. Beautifully decorated and restored windmill and best of all an excellent dinner awaited us after having travelled from La Rochelle. The hostess is a very good cook as well as the suggested menus.

Made a reservation after recommendation from friends. Very glad we did as it was a very busy evening. The menu of the day was well priced had plenty of choice. All the food was good we will certainly go back.

A super nice restaurant. well decorated and clean room. people to your care. very good quality house kitchen and with fresh products. We even got a dish prepared especially for our 6-year-old girl. really to recommend without hesitation
