Buckingsgarten - Marburg

Great views. Great decor. Very good food and wines. Steaks were done perfectly. Very good salt:)) English was no problem. With the bill came little packs of gummy bears!!!! Excellent choice!!! Nice walk to/from castle to reach this restaurant, which is a plus

Marburg is not a place where you can easily find good food. I was very pleasantly surprised to find this lovely restaurant, which had very high quality and tasty dishes.

I ate here on a Friday night with a business colleague. The dinner was excellent. I had venison which was paired with traditional side dishes. Great service and comfortable/up-scale atmosphere.

Beautiful facilities on the top of the mountain by the castle. Cozy ambiance and friendly staff. And the food was really good, with adequate portions, and tasty dishes. I recommend the mushrooms for entree. The meat we had was cooked to perfection. It is not a cheap place, but you will enjoy the experience, that is for sure.

The food here is by far the best I have had in Marburg. The starters, the steaks, even the fresh bread and butter tasted amazing. The location in the castle is also wonderful, as are the views and the décor inside is also fantastic. Great staff, great food, great location, I will visit every time I come to Marburg for sure.
