San Martino - Marbella

Not as good as what I was expecting. Tables very close together. I’m could not drink the glass of wine it was that bad Whole chilli in the starter and main too creamy and sickly sauce on the parka.

Great location and main courses were quite tasty we all ordered minestrone soup wishing just tasted like bland dirty water, really disappointing for a so called Italian restaurant. There was no bar staff working so no cocktails available other than ‘a few classic ones’. We asked for Mojito, Cosmopolitain but the answer was no and that she would check with the person making the drinks whether they could do it or not. She never asked and did not come back to us. Not very friendly staff, but good atmosphere, especially on a Sunday night when the bars surrounding have music and dance acts.

Outstanding dining experience at this gorgeous restaurant. Such a beautiful setting and the service was exceptional! As was the food and wine. Such a memorable evening and place-we will definitely return. Memorable evening for sure. Great staff and owners!!!

We are regular visitors to Elvira, but had not been back since the Pandemic. We decided to try this restaurant again to see if it had improved from our previous visit. I ordered Lobster Spaghetti and the Lobster was tough and chewy and the sauce was poor, so very unpleasant and only managed a bit of the spaghetti. I raised my concern to the waiter who came back with the bill and 10 off . I thought that was unreasonable and so then the head waiter came out and stated I had eaten some spaghetti. He then walked off and came back with 30 off. I explained that I should not have to pay for the meal considering I hardly ate any of it and had spoilt our evening. The head waiter stormed off and shouted this would be the last time ! Another waiter came with the bill and it had finally been taken off, but what a dreadful experience all round. AVOID !
