Then it kept dripping and they didn't do anything about it. The lip of the carafe was defective; not broken, but defective. Bring me more Sangria that hasn't washed the table. It's not a Covid deterrent. Staff aside, everything here was gorgeous and tasteless. They said they make their guacamole there in the restaurant. Why would you whip your guacamole to death and then waste the effort by not adding any spice whatsoever. Pad Thai was overwhelmed with soy sauce. Taco starter had more spice than the guac. I liked the tacos but my daughter didn't. My son lives for Tiramisu and he wouldnt' finish it. Go for the banana desert. Best dish on the menu.
We ate the poké bowl, both the one with salmon and the one with crispy chicken, they both were delicious!!! We also had some drinks and they were very good aswell. The staff is very friendly and helpful. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Marbella!!
Went here for a coffee this morning and was put off by the moody indifferent attitude of the waitress.. bad service seems to be the norm for these modern trendy places
Living in Marbella, I 'm always on the lookout for a great place to be with friends. MIMO 's location is lovely and a favourite place for long morning coffees and chats with friends, which made it worth taking a chance on their menu. I am very sad to say the meals a friend and I were just served at MIMO were anything but fresh and lovely as one reviewer wrote. I ordered the quinoa veggie bowl and had to take it back to the kitchen as was over salted to the point of being utterly inedible. What they returned was a bowl of bland gold quinoa not a single herb in sight with a few thin tasteless slices of carrots, pepper and zucchini. When the waiter cleared and seeing my empty bowl, suggested that I liked it, my response was truthful. 'No. It was beyond boring but because I 've travelled the world and can actually name children who go to bed hungry, I will not leave food on the plate. My friend 's wrap had what she called 'the equivalent of McDonald 's chicken McNuggets ' and guacamole from a jar. MIMO has a great location and it 's an opportunity someone has to make if it is going to endure because 30 Euro for lowest quality food even if it is okay for gluten free or vegan does not make up for a great locale or friendly staff.
We wandered along the sea front, folornly looking for somewhere half decent for a quick breakfast when we chanced on Mimo. We had such a great time that we headed back for dinner the next night. Smiley, friendly service, some delicious and eclectic food (ranging from tasty chicken for the kids, fantastic gyozas to start, an excellent burger for me and some decent noodles for the wife) and a couple of outrageous mojitos. So good we are going back tomorrow.
