New York Pizzeria - Marathon

The pizza was excellent, and the young lady at the front desk was very friendly. It’s conveniently located just off the highway, and I was pleasantly surprised by my experience.

While waiting for our pizzas, I heard some complaints from other customers about their pizzas not being made correctly. When our pizza finally arrived, we were told that paper plates would be brought out, but they never came. The second pizza took an additional 20 minutes to arrive, which was quite frustrating. A friend of mine also came in to pick up her pizza, but it wasn’t ready, and she had to wait for it as well. When she arrived, she was told they'd run out of extra cheese, even though she had ordered it. There seemed to be many staff members working, but no one seemed to have a clear understanding of what was going on. A couple who came in after us even left without eating. While I have to say the pizza itself was good, I’m not sure if we’ll return. I really hope they can improve their organization and customer service, as I would love for them to be more accommodating.

They did it right. pizza and broth sticks were sufficient, but when I stood there for one minute or two, without anyone waiting for me, I was apologised and a small additional gloomy for the effort free. that is the difference between me never come back to her restaurant and I give them a 5-star rating... the small things are important

We stopped here on our way back to North Carolina, and the pizza was fantastic! The staff was incredibly friendly as well. We would absolutely make a special trip to eat here again if we return. Thank you for a wonderful lunch!
