Maria Bonita - Mar del Plata

A nice overall place to try some mexican food in argentina....it is a good option to try when you have had your fill of pasta, steaks and pizza.. nice service nice clean place.... i would return....good mexican food considering you are in argentina....only bad thing all of children there... about 10 kids with other families around me .... but parents in argentina never control their kids...

What brought me to Maria Bonita is my endless quest to culinary alternatives in a city that just explodes with mediocre pasta and meat joints.We dined with a large group of friends and were lucky enough to get the whole terrace to ourselves. In the summer time, it's a great place to dine, has a lovely atmosphere and a very romantic vibe. The downstairs is somewhat more lively, but also thoroughly agreeable and pretty. The menu in Maria Bonita is predominantly Mexican with a touch of other south American cuisines. It is very well-balanced and we all found things that we liked. My favorite was the meat fajitas, the sauce was simply excellent and the nachos that come as an entry is a vice hard to beat.The service is very efficient and they take the time to explain the different choices if there is a need. I would say don't leave without trying the Argentine deserts or the very tasty margaritas, no headaches guaranteed.All is all it was a wonderful experience, I really recommend this place for the quality of the food they serve and the great atmosphere! We will definitely go back!

Some of the best Mexican food I've ever had and definitely the best in 3 months in South America. Juan was extremely friendly and gave us a two page handwritten note telling us the best things to do in Mar Del Plata!

In my opinion, it is a good restaurant with rich and traditional dishes and it has one of the Guinnes records for most spicy sauces and the place is very colorful and small.
