The website is deceptive..kuddos to the designer. The food was terrible.

Got there just at closing time but the staff was still friendly even staying open late to let the last customers finish up.

The food is good, but I ordered the Red Beans and Rice side twice (take out order), and the beans were undercooked both times. The first time I threw out the side and figured it was just a fluke. But I tried them again and… the beans aren't all cooked all the way. Undercooked red beans are not only super gross (a dry, chalky consistency), but they can make you sick. Small place but laid back atmosphere inside and out. Good beer good food. Chris and all his staff are always friendly and ready to serve you up a a drink and some fine smoked meat

I put together a private corporate party for 16 people in St Louis at a local craft beer bar. The Wood Shack prepared, packaged, delivered, and setup a buffet style serving station. They worked with the venue and made the experience low touch/stress for this out of state traveler. Most importantly, the meats were FIRE!
