I loved it here! Jayla was great, she recommended the peach cobbler and it was delicious. We had oxtails (they fall off the bone omg!!!! , catfish, red beans and rice, everything was great. We’ll be back during the week to try the rest of the menu!

Very laid back. You shouldn't go here if you're in a rush. Excellent dressing. The pork steak is very good. 09/18/2022 is our second visit on Soul Food Sunday. I had the Fried Pork Chop and my fiance had the Smothered Pork Chop. Both were excellent and more than we could eat in one sitting. Thank God for boxes to go. I hope the owner see this message. I came there tonight to introduce my boyfriend to this place because I just recently ate there 3 weeks ago and the food was good. The service tonight of my second time coming was absolutely horrible. I waited for over a hour waiting on my food and I ended up at Red Robin because they still hadn't brought my food out but served two tables that was behind us who came way after us and they got there food before us…which one table order the exact same thing tha … – show

I’ve never had a bad experience, the food is always fresh, hot, and very flavorful.

Staff was very nice. The poboys are great! We ordered the shrimp and the catfish,both were perfect! Love that sauce! We will definitely eat here again.
