La Casa del Mar - Mar de las Pampas

The best place in Mar de las Pampas in my opinion. Every other night or so, for an entire month I dinned there, so I have a good statistics to share. In my own order of priorities: I highly recommend the place, first, for the attention you receive from the people taking care of you: Outstanding, charming and at the same time very professional, Milagros and Julieta (as well as Juan the chef) and the Owner all takes much pride of seeing you coming back (in my case again and again). The food: excellent. Of course you go to "casa del mar" to eat seafood…. and you get fresh catch of the day (corvina, mero, abadejo, etc) over a bed of a variety of vegetables, and delicious sauces. I tried the whole list over that month, spotless, not a single complaint. The place: very good setting, you get three options: choose one of a few tables on a nice balcony, inside, or in the patio with a dozen tables. Prices are reasonable, you can walk in or make a reservation either way. Enjoy it!

Very good food, nice atmosphere, good service and reasonable prices. I went yesterday night with my family and we had a great time. I went with my two children and they had the kids menu, but it is not a kids friendly restaurant.

My wife and I were looking for good fish. The dishes were very good, and the service very kind. At a reasonable price. José

I have been at the 2nd week of January, 2017 for several days in Mar de Las Pampas and went two times to this lovely restaurant. It has been always crowded because it is for me one of the top fresh-fish restaurants in Mar de Las Pampas. And, if you'd need something in between, inside the wife of the owner offers their nice dresses and accessories. So it is absolutely worth it to go there for a dinner. But like every other restaurant of Mar de Las Pampas (beside La Abuela) the prices are above the Argentinian average.

This restaurant doesn´t show the menues outside as most other do. In spite of this we decided to go in and they offered us a very quiet place upstairs with a nice view. As it was my birthday my husband decided to stay. we were offered a menu and saw apparently no prices. But we started to read better and saw they were written in letters instead of numbers below the description of each dish. It´s extremely expensive!!! We ate a very tasty fist dish that we shared. Then we ate the fish of the day "corvina", it was excellent too. The problem was that all of a sudden appeared a LARGE group of people with 5 little children!!! It was a disastrous meal. Very noisy as most children are. Obviously they were not responsible for that but the peson in charge. I would never go back and wouldn´t recommend it.
