Golden Corral Buffet Grill - Maplewood

As usual it was packed, but as the price for food climbs, what more you can expect. But still the food was still good. Of course, the selection was a wide choice. The guy they had on Steaks

My pictures may not be the best, I felt like I had to be discreet, Lol. For about $20 a person, you can eat unlimited. I usually have several steaks to order them to cook. Med Rare gives a lot of taste without being too ****. You have a nice salad bar, although I skip it to save space for steak. Tonight they had beef stew and pork. The hamburgers are also very good, but none were at this visit. Steaks usually start after 4:00 so they have the burgers at lunch. The dessert bar is usually quite good, but tonight it was hard to get and somehow chaotic. None of the ice toppings were out. Overall, they are one of the better and have very friendly staff for an American comfort food buffet. The bathrooms are decent. The main negative is that they are sometimes slow to replace depleted dishes. Update: recent visit. The dessert bar has been significantly improved. The staff is pleasant and helpful.

When I first came to the lady a little rude she didn't seem like she wanted to work... but others then the food Great was not like any other buffet tho it is a bit crowded, especially if you eat the area is small, but it is ok I get it

First of all, the staff is absolutely delightful. Friendly and my shy kids calm down. You do a great task to keep the tables and buffet neat. This place is great for lunch and dinner. For the same price I would pay to take my family of 4 to get fast food, I can take it here. Most buffet food is quite average. For my family there are always steak, salad bar and brownies/coupcakes. It's pretty disappointing for breakfast. The price is good, but the potatoes are under and soggy. Corned beef hash was completely uncritical and hatch warm. We'll be back, but not for breakfast. Bathrooms seem to be hit or miss and I feel like someone on the staff does not know how to really get a high bathroom clean. You could use a really good shrub.

While the food wasn't all great (I have yet to find a buffet where everything is), a good amount of it was passable fair. The salad bar was well stocked and offered a good variety. I can say I didn't care for the baked fish, but the fried chicken was excellent, as was the beef gravy. There is a good mix of options for various diets. The staff is friendly and keeps the place reasonably clean and stocked. It was, of course, packed and loud, but that is to be expected on a Saturday night.
