Great broth, as that is the key. The shrimp and sugar cane was awesome too.
Ordered via Uber Eats. Packaging was good. This Super spring rolls was so good. Came big portions with vermicelli, mixed greens and fish sauce. Only one thing that the restaurant should take note that the fish sauce was too little, not enough for this amount of food. I had to make myself more the fish sauce.
Pho Vaughan has been around for a long time. At least this one has, compared to the new one down the block that thus far doesn't imitate its menu. We've come to this location from time-to-time over the years ever since a friend first introduced this local spot. On this visit, I had their standard Special Beef Noodle Soup which comprised of mostly rare beef to be cooked in the boiling hot broth. The soup base is generally clean though a little on the fatty side. It is quite satisfying to slurp down with the soft rice noodles. Their fried fish seems popular as a side dish for the regulars but is quite dry for my taste. A fishy sweet and sour aroma hits the second you enter the restaurant doors. There's nothing out-of-the-ordinary, but it always tends to be relatively packed at dinner time. It's another authentic family-run pho spot that serves up consistent noodle and rice dishes.
One of the best restaurants serving Northern Vietnamese dishes in the GTA. Bun Cha Ca is my favourite and I LOVE their Cha La Lot that I always have to order extra with my meal. If I live near by, I would come here at least 2-3 times a week
