La Katana Cocina Asiatica Fusion

This small place in the plaza las palmas has really fresh food, a good selection of sushi and a very good drink menu. we had the Teppe fusion with huh, but were tried by the house speciality. very nice free side dishes. good presentation too!

We had no sushi, we chose the salmon bowl and tempura. big part, but the tempoura was more like fish and chip battery, greasy, soggy, not impressed. no ice in our drinks. we had also won mushrooms that were good. server were friendly...and professional. decoration was amateur.

Eating is really good. the restaurant itself is not much to talk, but we would like to order. order thunfisch sashimi or a few roll and take it to the picnic on the beach.

Most Japanese restaurants in manzanillo smooth the sushi in mayo. Why? I have no idea. although not really a real Japanese restauant, the other Asian dishes. Thai, Indonesian etc. are not so great. some of the fusion food is interesting and creative....Dessert sushi! yes, it was really good. it's worth trying to feel like something else,

The food is excellent.. a little off the beaten path, very small seating area... but they do a good job with the food.. it's good..
