Amapola - Manzanillo

This new little restaurant is an easy walk from Hotel La Posada or Roca Del Mar. It features many items high lighting the cuisine of different areas of Mexico. A friend with us ordered enchiladas with mole (a beautiful dark rich mole) sauce. Our waitress spoke quite good English and said the mole contained nearly 60 ingredients. It was a bit bitter in taste for me but the guys in our group thought it was excellent. We ordered special fruit ades, the first was guava (and was excellent); the second was pineapple (and even better). This would definitely be a "do over" for us. I just hope that it manages to stay afloat (many of the new smaller places seem to flounder and do not have a financial reserve to tide them over during the "off season". Only draw back no a/c and the overhead fans were damaged by the recent hurrican.
