We waited nearly an hour to be seated, despite the fact that there were only about seven tables in the entire place. The service was also slow; it took around 15-20 minutes for us to receive our appetizers. The food was mediocre, as my burger was overcooked. If you can, it's better to look for other lunch options, as you may face long wait times here. As for parking, there are a few spots available down the road, but they are quite limited.
The food is very fresh and clean. The staff is friendly. The blackened rock fish tacos are absolutely delicious and worth every bite.
Amazing!! I was headed out of OBX and desperately wanted a quality Gluten-free meal (which is terribly hard to find on the avg road trip).. Avenue Grille had tons of GF options, the food was tasty and fresh and the service was lovely. They also had a cute/funky gift store attached to the restaurant.
The view of the water is absolutely lovely, especially if you can secure a table by the window. The crab dip served with pita points was excellent! We also ordered the red drum fish tacos and shrimp and grits, both of which were well-seasoned and cooked to perfection. We enjoyed a refreshing Lost Colony blonde beer from Stumpy Point, NC, which was delightful. However, the seafood options were quite limited given the waterfront location. The service was average, but overall, we had a great experience here.
Great food and fresh fish! Amazing view of the water and boats while enjoying your food or a cocktail. Also connected to a shop with lots of local arts to purchase. Very Nice .
