Peanut Butter Jelly is an eatery that combines street eats with street art, with a food menu inspired by everyone’s favourite childhood food the PB&J sandwich, and a handful of famous international graffiti artists, together it’s a meal to remember.
The trek to Peanut Butter Jelly in Manly from my inner west bubble was well worth it. I loved everything about Peanut Butter Jelly: from the wall art to the friendly and attentive service to the scrumptious breakfast menu. <br/ <br/ Their breakfast offering is far from boring and definitely up with the best in Sydney. I loved my pulled pork pancake rolls (pictured): the serving was just right and I couldn’t get enough of the maple mayo.<br/ <br/ The peanut butter jelly sandwich (pictured) is also part of the main menu, served as a dessert. The toasted brioche bun is so light and is filled with smooth peanut butter, marshmallow and poached strawberry jam. It’s heaven on a plate.<br/ <br/ The vibes, the food and friendly service reminds me of the cool cafes in Melbourne. I can’t wait to visit for dinner. Not just for the food but to try their cocktails. #peanutbutterjelly
If it's funky and cool you want in the northern beaches of Sydney, then you can't go much wrong with Peanut Butter Jelly.<br/ <br/ The street art dominating almost every wall of the venue is wonderfully bright, while the global fusion street food dishes are exciting and tasty.<br/ <br/ For the savoury dishes, the popcorn chicken tacos and peanut butter chicken skewers were excellent. The chicken nuggets were perfectly fried and crunchy, pairing very well with charred leek and slightly spicy habanero relish, while the juicy and tender chicken skewers smothered with a peanut butter sesame dressing were sweet, salty, and moreish.<br/ <br/ The lone dessert we tried (The Twinkee was totally decadent, with a tart lime cheesecake ice cream wrapped in coconut cake, crispy batter, and deep-fried then slotted onto an ice cream stick. They tried too hard with its presentation (what's with the blood splatter look? but it was a fun and sweet way to finish the meal.<br/ <br/ If you're in the area, then Peanut Butter Jelly is a great choice for fun food and atmosphere.
Great tasting burgers. Not much fries with the burger. Definitely keen to come back and try the other food
Beautiful setting, beer gravy chicken and truffle fries are the best!!!
