We headed down for on a quiet Wednesday for lunch. The staff were friendly and professional. The service was good. We had the kangaroo pappardelle and the gnocchi. They were so tasty. Well cooked and tender. The gnocchi was deliciously cheesy! The only drawback was the price. $100 for both meals, one wine and a soft drink.
I was super duper excited when I was told by work that I would be travelling to Manjimup. In the weeks leading up to my travels, I researched all the different places I could go to visit and eat. Dining at Truffle Co was a wonderful experience. We had the delights platter for entree (only $12 and amazing value), then the Paired menu 1 for main, which contained 4 delicious large tastings with 3 wines (at $30 another great value meal). Dessert was the baked cheesecake which was just so tasty. I couldn't fault this place. My friend had the duck and her partner had the seafood ravioli which they enjoyed also. A well deserved 5 stars. We enjoyed wine tastings between courses at the anointing tastings area. Top stuff!
Hoping fo a nice lunch but left feeling ill. Felt sorry for the inexperienced waitresses after the chef left mid service. Gnocchi overcooked, cold, dry and inedible. Confit duck soggy, sitting in a pool of oil with big chunks of broccoli and cauliflower. Best part was the mash potato. Wine was average. Never return for another meal.
