Indian Lake State Park - Manistique

Beautiful campsites. You can shower if you're not a camper. it costs only $5 per person. my 3 star review is for the showers and toilets the water does not spray well from the shower. there are cracks in the tile where water looked. it looks like a patch repair where water still leaves. that was also a problem about the toilets.

Love Indian Lake, been going for years. Staff not as friendly as usual, but they are probably short staffed like everyone else. I have noticed at a lot of the parks that older employees are doing most of the cleanup and grass cutting etc while the younger staff are riding around in the carts.

What a nice park! Not too big, nice campsites. Would be nice if there were more walking trails. The trail that is here was nice.

Super clean and loved the location but office staff was absolutely awful. I was yelled at by someone there and told I didn’t have a sticker to be there in front of many other campers even though it was my fourth day camping there and I had my sticker on my windshield like everyone else. He humiliated me and made me very triggered as I am a survivor of past trauma. I wasn’t going to leave a review about it but my therapist and I spoke about what happened and she suggested that I do leave a review because my experience was wrong and it shouldn’t have happened to me. I’ve been triggered since that day and am having to start up therapy on a more frequent basis because he triggered my ptsd so badly by this attack.The people that witnessed this came to me after and asked if I was okay. I’m not someone who usually reports bad customer service but I’m this case I feel like I need to do that another camper isn’t put in the same position.

We always have our family reunions here. Great beach, the pavilions are clean, bathrooms clean. Great state park!
