Artifice Ales Mead - Manheim

A great place to go, a drink or eat. Eating was great, they even had gluten-free options that most places did not! I've tried some of her ales and mead. I enjoyed them all and even went home with a 4 piece of medaille. we will go back and would and have recommended this place to everyone!

Perfection! The staff were excellent, and the beer was outstanding, especially since we love mead! The atmosphere was inviting both inside and outside, creating a true oasis in the city. The summer vibes had an interesting mint flavor, but the vanilla strawberry (jordbær) was simply divine. Both dark beers (revivified and cunning) had a rich flavor with a refreshing summer twist. The tripel was a great representation of its style. I can't wait to return. However, next time they have a military-themed event, they should include a space force element because it's a real thing, and all the young Air Force members are envious of their cool uniforms!

On a positive note, the food was quite good; we enjoyed some pretzels with cheese sauce. I also tried their hefeweizen, which was delicious. However, it was a bit chilly inside the restaurant, and unfortunately, the fireplace wasn't working. Another letdown was that we were drawn to the place because it advertised axe throwing, but the waitress informed us that was not available. Overall, I would rate this place a 3 out of 5. If you have the option, I recommend checking out their sister location, Meduseld, in Lancaster city instead.

The food was great, staff was friendly, although they don’t really do much to serve you, they kind of just come once to get your drink order, and then one other time to get your food order. Me and my family found ourselves at the counter more than we found anyone who worked there coming to our table. My parents were not at all impressed by the beers they ordered, which is the main reason I didn’t give a 5-star review. However, I loved the atmosphere and how they decorated the place. I recommend this establishment, but mainly for their food.

Nice place, really great service. Tried several drinks. Already had dinner prior, however the people beside us were raving about how good their meals were. So we will go back soon for food!
