El Patron - Manhattan

A friend and I went for lunch a little after 1 pm. We went inside and asked to sit outside. They gave us just 1 menu. It was over 10 minutes before anyone brought us our chips and to take our drink order. We ordered our food at that time also. The salsa tasted more like spaghetti sauce than salsa. We both had taco salads with ground beef. We then had to chase down our check to pay. None of the staff we interacted with were very friendly. Felt like we were a bother. I will not be going again.

They were closing outside seating, but allowed us to sit outside because we had puppies. I know it added a lot of extra work for them, but they kept a positive, professional attitude. The food was fabulous and after sampling several Mexican restaurants in town while we were visiting this one was by far the best.Food: 5/5

Food is always delicious, but the last few times we have been we are never offered refills. My husband served himself to a refill today and the waitress just looked at him and smiled and walked passed him. And the time before we went I had to get up and ask the bar for a refill on our kid drinks. We frequent this establishment several times throughout the last year and never had an issues. However, the last two times we have been we unfortunately have not had good experience with our waitresses. Two, new to us, waitresses. However, the food is always good!

It's a really nice Mexican restaurant. There are a lot of traditional Mexican dishes and they do them quite well. The bar area is very neat and the bar staff is very knowledgeable in whatever drink you wish to have. The dishes are well portion and the only critique I have is that everything is a little too spicy. If you have an option to go with mild choices unless you really like hot dishes.

OMG! We've eaten at a lot of Mexican restaurants, but this was the very best hands down. Flavors will explode in your mouth and you don't want to stop eating because it's so delicious. Pictured is the Taco Locos and the Panchita Chimichanga. AMAZING!Food: 5/5
