The Izaka-ya By Katsu-ya Manhattan Beach

Great atmosphere! Try to sit in the sushi bar, you have a good time. Special rolls were lovely, but the salmon roll was a bit inconspicuous. Still looking for phenomenal sushi in the southern bay...

One of the best sushi places I was in Cali! The sushi was good, the prices were reasonable, the service was amazing. I felt welcome what is incredibly important. Just a wonderful experience. Definitely on my list when go-tos when I return to Cali. Come back!

Best sushi in town! Only that they are always busy and waiting is long, maybe about 3pm if you can grab a few seats at the bar. Sushi is absolutely delicious, fresh and excellent. Variety of rolls and other dishes. The staff is friendly and friendly. The hotel is located in MAnhattan Beach Downtown. Great Japanese restaurant!

Refreshment place for sushi if you? an manhattan beach. They typically sit (we were there by chance at the weekend at sunset and waited no longer than 10 minutes). They have some tables outside (3 4 tables) that are pet-friendly. Their fish is extremely fresh and they have a variety of sushi. Their special kiwi scallop was so unique and refreshing: slightly supposed scalopps on a thinly cut kiwi with Yuzu! Can't recommend enough. We tried their cooked dinner: salmon teriyaki and it was excellent, flakey well cooked salmon with not overwhelming over the sauce. For sushi we have different tuna cuts (toro, blue fin) that were both delicious. But I must say that the star is her salmon special, which is really well paired (lemon and avocado and a bit of wellots on a salmon nigiri). In addition to the above, they have an excellent selection of Sake and many Junmai ginjou; our fav cost effective choice is always the Kukui junmai ginjou, which is not easy to find and they have it as a stack. It supplements all dishes well. Overall; excellent quality for the price and good customer service despite the lively situation! Pet-friendly (which is always a plus for us, as our dog behaves so well and loves to be with us when we eat).

Really good lobster roll, and toro sampling. The waiter was really attentive and friendly too.
