Mck Resort - Mangatarem

Great view! We happened to come across this place by chance, and to our surprise, we really enjoyed it. Food: 3/5, Service: 3/5, Atmosphere: 4/5.

This place truly feels like a nature park! I absolutely love the ambiance. The owner is incredibly accommodating, and I really appreciate the free plants we received upon request.

The resort is lovely, with clean pool water that's changed daily. The pool area is shaded and features plenty of large trees. There's also a small park and tree houses, although they aren't functional. Pricing is reasonable at ₱1–200 per person. Service is rated at 2, while the atmosphere is a solid 5.

One of the nicer lido type resorts, though not with natural hot water. One water slide wasn't working when we went, and bizarrely the slides seem to exit in the adult only side of the pool anyway. There's various family cubicles (cubao) for hire, two sports courts, a restaurant, a playground and a tree house. Be aware that, like many things in the country, there are safety issues the playground is built on concrete and is made from sharp metal, and the banister of the tree house was missing some nails when we used it. There's karaoke for hire, so don't expect a quiet afternoon if your neighbour's booked it.
