Ponchartrain Po-boys - Mandeville

The atmosphere is incredibly relaxed and comfortable. You place your order at the counter, and they promptly deliver the food, even during busy lunch hours. The muffalettas are hearty and fantastic; a quarter size is more than sufficient for the average appetite. Although they were out of crab and oysters, the shrimp po'boy was still satisfying.

The best shrimp po-boy on the Northshore! The shrimp were plump and fresh, moist on the inside and crunchy on the outside. The po-boy was perfectly dressed, with just the right amount of mayonnaise, nestled in some delicious French bread. The coleslaw was fresh, not too watery or overly sweet. The portions were generous, and the customer service was outstanding! I’m definitely taking some leftovers for dinner—two meals for the price of one is a fantastic deal! If you're on the Northshore and craving a quick bite with that New Orleans flavor, this is the place to go! Just do it—you won’t regret it!

We ordered the shrimp po'boy and received two meals for the price of one. They were massive! It's an amazing sandwich!

We were looking for a reason to cross the bridge from New Orleans, and we found it! The restaurant was lovely. The onion rings were absolutely fantastic, and the portion sizes were enormous. We all ended up taking half of our meals home because we were so full. The prices were quite reasonable too.

Incredible experience! While we're in Louisiana waiting for Texas to reopen, we decided to grab lunch here. The staff was very friendly, the portion sizes were enormous, and "delicious" doesn't even begin to describe how good the food was! We ended up with enough leftovers for dinner, and we're all feeling stuffed! This place is definitely worth a visit!
