Nonki Japanese (main Mandaue)

This restaurant is conveniently at the premises of J-Park. We had been shuttled by the go cart to experience the authenticity of Japanese food. They offer superior service as if I was in Japan. From the welcoming at the door upon exit to the Japanese koi pond and bridge.. I was spectaculary amazed. The menu had me drooling and so wished I couldve tasted a bit of everything. It's a place for big groups or for date night. The simplicity of the place and environment was calm. The food portions were perfect. I got the uni (sea urchin) roll with ika (squid). It was fresh! M husband got a spicy ramen bowl which was surprisingly spicier than what we would normally get for ramen but it had a superior flavor to its broth. My bento box offered me everything I wanted from the soba noodles, miso soup, crunchy assorted tempura, sashimi fish and assorted sushi. I fell in love with my dinner. The fish was crafted fresh and beautifully presented. I finished my meal with the green tea desert that had jellies, chocolate drizzle, mango and adzuki bean.. It was not overwhelming sweet and perfect for a palette cleanser to add to my refreshing meal. I loved how clean the restroom were..the womens restroom has the Japanese bidet which exemplified that this restaurant aims to please their customers with an overall experience that goes above and beyond.

Amazing food. Cold beer. Sashimi was fresh and sushi was very good. Soup well not so much but everything else was amazing

Love the atmosphere, food, and Japanese toilet seats in the bathroom. The menu is large, so non-sushi eaters can definitely find other things to eat, like teriyaki or ramen. Selections of cold bottled Japanese tea and hot tea. Tempura is awesome, and the restaurant is lovely inside.

I ordered different dishes here from sushi to hot dishes. They are all delicious. The service was fast and I didn't have to wait long for my food.

I've ate a-lot of japanese food across US and Asia now here in cebu for business, hungry for Japanese food eh.... Went to Ayala mall and tried the japanese there for lunch and man it was a disappointment. I cant give up went to get a SIM card and internet BAMMMMM, let do our research find me a japanese sushi bar.. found Nonki with 5 star with Yelp and 4.5 star with google... now its time to eat fresh japanese food...... verdict.... one of the BEST Chirachi bowl i ever have, fresh fresh fresh...... Service was amazing and quick. Thank you for being the fix of my japanese food hunger.
