The service is always quick when I mobile order, and my drinks are usually ready by the time I arrive. However, parking can be a bit hectic, about 1 out of 5 times.
I really appreciate the girls who work in the morning. They are quick, friendly, and polite, and they remember my order, which is a lovely touch.
When I arrived at this Dunkin location on Sunday, May 22, at 12:30 PM, I noticed that four employees were present, but they seemed to be doing nothing. The trash needed to be emptied, the floor should have been swept and mopped, and the woman who took my order appeared to be picking something from her teeth. If this is how they run their business, I’ll likely have to take my patronage elsewhere.
I have to remind myself not to come here in the morning. Every time I come here there?s somebody here with attitude who hates job. I usually don?t come to this dunks for that reason but I always give it another chance but it never fails smh.. back tovalley st where they don?t question my coffee and make it how I like it!! And most importantly never have attitude!!
As a customer, this creates an uncomfortable atmosphere. When I've requested a remake or a simple adjustment to my order, the attitude from staff has been off-putting. They often make snarky comments about me to other employees as if I’m not there. I've ended up going to another Dunkin' on Valley Street to resolve issues with my orders multiple times, where the staff—particularly Tawasha and the management team—are much more attentive and friendly. They genuinely want to make your drink right. If something is off, they handle it professionally without any signs of annoyance. In contrast, the employees at the Elm Street location seem to act as if they are inconvenienced by the customers. They treat patrons like they're being charged exorbitantly for a drink when, in reality, the prices are standard for coffee shops. If a customer is unhappy, you would think they'd want to remedy the situation to keep them coming back. Now that the Elm Street location is closing for renovations on August 5, 2022, I hope they hire new staff. No employee has the right to chastise customers for making requests, especially if those requests stem from mistakes made by the staff. There’s no excuse for being rude or dismissive. Sadly, I've witnessed long-time customers walking away due to the toxic environment created by some of the employees. It’s all too common for these negative interactions to overshadow the experience of simply wanting a friendly face and a good cup of coffee in the morning. I've noticed that unless a customer is a regular who tips generously, they are often ignored. I am not surprised by the negative reviews this location has received, as they consistently reflect similar complaints.
