On a positive note, the food was good—just your typical dinner fare. The portions were generous, and everything arrived hot. However, the chairs were extremely uncomfortable, so keep that in mind if you have a bad back or are on the larger side. I’m not overweight, but I do have some curves, and these seats were not accommodating. Once you sit in them, you’ll understand what I mean. If you liked my review, please give it a thumbs up! The Texas burger is fantastic and quite large! The onion rings are the best I've had in a long time. Our server was exceptional as well!

This place is wonderful. It was quite busy when we arrived. Which is usually a good sign of great food. And it was great! I had the homemade corn beef hash and eggs along with the sausage gravy. The hash was so good. And the biscuits and gravy wereprobably the best I?ve ever had!! To make our experience even better was our lovely server, Tammy. Such a friendly lady. Andvery attentive. We left very full and very impressed. Don?t forget to walk next door to the store ?Rooted? All things Michigan!So much to see. We both both some real cool T-shirts. We will be back !!

The environment here is 50/50. 50% boring and plain and 50% unique. While the dinning area is relatively boring it is spattered with some really unique industrial lights with Edison bulbs that really liven up the place. I ordered the meatloaf with bakedbeans and mashed potatoes. The meat loaf was amazing. One of the best restaurant meatloaf's I've ever had. I got it with theirspecial tomato based sauce that was spectacular, I don't know what is in it, but wow. The baked beans and mashed potatoes wereboth very good. The person I was with ordered their burger and loved it. The service was very good, efficient, and veryfriendly. Overall a 5 star review. Would I return? Yes, this will become a yearly thing, when up north.

Now, let's dive into the menu. You’ll have a hard time not finding something you love. The variety of options is outstanding, and I found myself wanting to try several dishes. I ultimately chose the open-faced turkey sandwich, which featured the most delicious smoked turkey I've ever tasted. A big thank you to the current owner—not just for this restaurant, but for all the other places he runs in Mancelona. I'm so grateful to see this old town infused with new life. It brought me so much joy to visit a place I grew up in and find it revitalized. This restaurant easily earns a top spot on the Rikki Recommends scale. Be sure to check it out!
