Surf Taco Manasquan

The tacos on Friday night were fantastic! I've only ever had them delivered or picked up, so it was nice to finally sit in the back room to enjoy my meal. The decor was also impressive.

One of the best places for lunch. excellent menu selection and food quality is always great. Staff is super friendly; their fresh salsa choices are great. Definitely recommend it.

I was really looking forward to having lunch at one of my favorite beach spots, especially since I haven't been able to visit in a few years. Unfortunately, I was disappointed to find that the Baja bowl is no longer on the menu. Instead, I decided to try the Malibu veggie bowl. Since I ordered to-go, I'm not sure what the temperature was when I picked it up, but it wasn't bad cold. However, I remember the food always being delicious in the past, so I was quite saddened to find that I didn’t enjoy my meal this time. The cooked onion was hardly cooked at all (and I really dislike raw onion). The dish lacked flavor and wasn't visually appealing either. At $19.19, which includes a bottle of water, I don't think I'll make the extra trip for lunch again. I do hope others have a better experience with their meals.

We traveled from out of town, and our family highly recommended Surf Taco. The fish and shrimp tacos were delicious, and the burritos were great as well. It's a fun, locally-owned spot to enjoy a meal.

My first time going to the Surf Taco and last. I purchased a combo with two tacos, chips, fountain drink, rice and beans. My taco choices were chicken and shrimp. So starting with the chicken taco, the meat tasted charred and burned but was still somehow cold?! It had adequate fixings but they just couldn't mask the terrible taste of the meat and the shrimp taco was just as bad. Something about the shrimp just tasted off and there was way too much cabbage maybe to hide the shrimp taste? I felt like I was having a cabbage taco. Also way to much money for that quality of food. Place was a little messy on the counters but not too bad. Had to go back after leaving because cashier forgot to give me a cup. They did have a cook needed sign, hope they find someone.
