Akaya is inspired by the Izakayas of Tokyo and is an original concept created exclusively for Bahrain. The concrete jungle is an ode to Japanese minimalist architecture and the perfect venue to unwind with friends to enjoy signature cocktails and an Asian style tapas menu. You can dine either outdoor in the Zen Garden which is fully air-conditioned for the summer, or indoor at The Travertino Room and The Janguru Lounge.

Sensational place! Wonderful service. The sushi is outstanding. Highly recommend the ruby red cocktail. Such a wide variety of drinks/cocktails. Perfect for date night or even a night out. The music was super vibey and the overall atmosphere was great. Can see this place becoming my new hangout!
