Wunderbar Cafe & Bakery - Mamallapuram

In diesem sehr charmanten Café mit unglaublich freundlicher Bewirtung gibt es den besten Käsekuchen (Joghurtkuchen), den ich in ganz Indien bisher gegessen habe. Frisch und warm aus dem Ofen ist es unmöglich diesem Duft zu widerstehen und vorbei zu gehen. Aber ebenfalls extrem lecker - und selten zu finden in Indien- ist echtes dunkles Brot (ebenfalls selbst gebackenen) mit Tomaten, Basilikumkräutern und Butter. Absolut zu empfehlen, besonders wenn man sich nach einer Weile nach ein bisschen kulinarischer Heimat sehnt. :)

Swamy and Jeanette run this extremely friendly, sunny and nicely decorated cafe, located on the Othavadai Street in Mahabs. The menu is full of cakes, coffee, Indian and continental specialties and the place itself is impossible to miss, since it smells wonderfully like fresh cakes and coffee. They even have real, proper bread!!! I love the cute, wooden fence in the front and the bright yellow walls! Wunderbar; I will be back!

They even serve authentic German bread. I adore the adorable wooden sign at the entrance and the vibrant yellow walls. It's a delightful place to visit - I will definitely be returning!

After a long day of activities, we were satisfied with our coffee and small bites at this restaurant. It was a great way to end our day. We enjoyed a large, flavorful coffee after indulging in some spicy snacks.
