Mamalla Bhavan - Mamallapuram

I would say, This is one of the best hotel i have visited. No fancy, Very Tasty food, Normal Price. Having elders as a staff. we got a wonderful service. We are very glad to have food there. we have stayed 2 days in mahapalipuram and all the times we have eaten in Mamalla Bavan Only. especially family with Kids i would recommend to go.

This Pure veg typical south restaurant located next to Mahabali puram bus stand on the road going to Krishna Mandapam and Arjuna Penance, reasonably priced. Only decent and clean restaurant near to tourist spot. Restaurant was clean, we had our morning breakfast here, Idali and mendu wada. Food was good, samabar was not upto mark...Staff was helpful, guided us on how to reach Pallavarm by Bus.

We have stayed Mahabalipuram for four days. We had Dosai and idly for breakfast and it's gud for its price. Sambar not gud as expected. Feel like it's not thick. Meals is rs 75 and okay for that price. Again rice not properly cooked. Now a days most of hotel providing half boiled rice. Capathi is very soft and gravy is gud. Overall it's cheap for its price.

I visited hotel Mamalla Bhavan on 1st May night. This hotel is located close to Mamallapuram bus station. Taste of food was good. I had dosa with chutney and sambar. My friends had idlies, uthappam. Taste was good and reflects traditional Tamilnadu taste. Prices are reasonable and services were good. Good hotel to visit with family.

This is a no nonsense place very close to the bus station. Food is good, rather spicy and the price is very reasonable.The service we received was exceptional We had a very filling masala dosa and also a take-out of chana and puri which was packed well and very tastyIf you want a real taste of India, then this place is a must
