The best place for food in Malton. Local, old fashioned pub that knocks out the very best in food. Exceptional dishes including fillet steak and trimmings £15. There is nowhere quite like Malton for food and the blue ball has it all

Excellent Roast beef Sunday lunch. My wife enjoyed the roast lamb. Very good value for money. The Blue Ball also has a good selection of beers and lager. A very snug place, well worth a visit.

Lovely little pub full of character in a market town centre location. A good selection of ales and excellent service. The food here is superb, home cooked, good quality large portions and not at all expensive. Try the paella or even the fish chips, you will not be disappointed, if you are theirs no accounting for some people's taste. We will definitely be back.
