Urban Gyro - Maltkiln Lane

I come here for lunch frequently and the staff is always very friendly and the food is great. I typically get a lamb and beef gyro and it is always delicious and filling.

I ordered a lamb gyro with Greek fries and had an incredible experience at urban gyro. Very generous portions and the food was delicious. Brother Abdul is also a very kind gentleman… I will definitely be coming back.

I work really close in SLU. Aziz is always there to greet me with a smile. I go through stretches when I can’t get away from work, but they always remember me. Right when I was ready to walk in, HUNGRY AS EVER, I saw the cook/ cashier (or owner possibly) pick his HIS TOES. He scratched them and then what it looked like, about to sniff it. No lie!! As soon as he saw me, he immediately wiped what ever was on his fingers onto his apron and ran in the door ready to ring us up and start cooking (he was the only one there). He got on his IPad and asked “what would you like” I immediately walked out. I thought MAYBE he’d wash his hands BUT NO!! GROSS GROSS GROSS. Never coming back.

Today was our first visit to Urban Gyro and it’s certainly not our last! The gentleman at the counter provided very warm and friendly. The flavors of the food were outstanding, and the portions were impressively generous. Highly recommended for a delicious and satisfying meal. Truly appreciate the exceptional food and customer service!
