The Wayward Vegan - Maltkiln Lane

Frozen chiggen patty was not good and upset my stomach. Waffles were mid. Gravy and biscuits had good flavor. Ordered tempeh bacon and never got it. Doesn’t seem worth the money.

Terrible service, our server forgot one of our meals, never filled our water’s and never brought anything we asked for like napkins or salt. He would go to tables near us and not stop by ours. The food was mediocre and too heavily reliant on Just Egg and frozen plant based chicken products. The atmosphere was grim as the paint was peeling off my table and the bathroom was dark and creepy. Y your money is better spent at Cafe Flora or Plum Bistro. Super disappointed that Wayward was more expensive than both of them

First time we have been here and the food is fantastic! Our daughter and her best friend are vegans and we ate everything on all of our plates. They have an excellent variety on their menu. Very friendly workers and the food came quickly. The mimosas were delicious especially the mango mimosa. They are extremely clean and efficient. We will come back here again and highly recommend this place!

Everything I've had here buffalo wings, omelette, breakfast burrito and BBQ burger has been excellent. Hard to choose a favorite so far, but it's probably a tie between the omelette and burger. I hope to try many more things on their large menu.
