Thai Fusion Bistro - Maltkiln Lane

I really want to recommend this place but sadly I can't. The food is subpar, the service is okay. Last time I went there the guy manager messed with me by asking if I wanted left-handed or right handed chopsticks. It was very weird and after that experience, I don't really feel comfortable going back. It also seems like they have a lot of signage preventing people who aren't dining in from using any of their bathrooms or sitting down while you wait. It seems very selfish and rude, especially when deliveries are probably a big portion of your customer base.

Good food horrible server. Felt like we were eating there for free by the look on his face. Gave us the check halfway into our food too.

Food came out fast. We ordered an appetizer and two entrees: Lime Chicken, Mongolian Beef, and Thai Fusion Orange Sauce with Chicken. They were all amazing. The lime chicken appetizer had me doing a happy dance in my seat. I don't even think it needed the sweet chili sauce it came with for dipping, it was that good. Would definitely have again next time I'm in Northgate and craving Thai.

I ordered a tofu pad thai and got chicken. Had to remove it it was a Togo order, so unfortunately, I couldn't go back. I also got mango sticky rice, and it looks like the mango is sitting in a syrup, and the rice is just drenched in milk. It's giving ARROZ CON LECHE. It's not appetizing at all. Super disappointing. Poor customer service. The first guy stopped mid order to continue other things, and another woman came to finish taking my order. In conclusion.. Big L, waste of time and money.

This place never disappoints. If you like seafood I recommend the baked creamy curry! The tropical mojito with longan was also very good. Don't skip the appetizers either.
