This used to be a go-to of ours but they've changed the menu and it's not good. I won't be ordering again. Such a bummer.
The worst meal I've had in my time 8 months in Seattle. I got the egg sandwich expecting something maybe not LA's Eggslut level but nice (because $15 for an egg sandwich?? . It ended up being the saddest, driest thing ever with eggs that tasted like they were made by a 10 year old. It also did not come with bacon as advertised. I am not kidding when I say McDonald's makes better sandwiches despite being 1/10 the price...
Tried this place for dinner. What a find! I had two tacos: shrimp in diablo sauce, and one of the fish tacos (not on the menu, but just ask--they 're happy to make them . A reviewer below mentions the delicious fig salsa with a really interesting heat to it. I asked for this salsa, and it was outstanding. Decent beer selection too. (What can be better than beer to wash tacos down with? In short, if you live in Seattle, or are just visiting, you 've got to try this place. Good service, good value, and great food.
Give Sazón D 'la Baja a try! This is not a slather it in beans and cheese restaurant. The dishes are thoughtfully designed. I 'd say 4.5 Stars if I could, because the only drawback in my mind was that I thought they were a bit pricey. But everything we had was high quality. We started with chips and salsa $7.00? . Clearly homemade, super thick chips but not too many. Margarita was tasty. Then we each had a Guisado Plate. Guisado means Stew I guess so I wasn 't sure what to expect, but my mystery expectations were more than met. The Veggie Guisado with assorted juicy veggies was perfectly seasoned. And the Birria tri tip Guisado was excellent too tender and tasty. Efficient service not too crowded bring your usual Queen Anne parking skills. We 'll be back to Sazón D 'la Baja.
