Happy Lemon South Lake Union

The service does not exist here. Even during non-busy hours, the employees do not even react to thank you customers said to them when picking up drinks or even bother to look at the customer. It gives me the feeling that the employees are forced to work at this place and hate the customers who dare to visit the store.(Time of the visit: Dec 2, 2023 5:20-5:30PM)

I typically like Happy Lemon but this location is terrible. I love HL because they are one of the few boba places to offer taro balls. However, they are almost ALWAYS out at this location. Very rarely am I able to get that.This is not the worst part. Idk who decided to hire the people to work here but each and every time my partner and I come here, the workers are so rude, no manners, and literally do not call out our order number so how am I supposed to know it’s ready and I’m just left waiting.It’s just odd because it’s different workers and it seems that each shift of workers are always rude. Who is hiring these people and can we please get some nicer ones? Otherwise, I would recommend making the extra trek to go to a different location.

Extremely unhelpful for people with celiac or gluten sensitivitieswe asked if their toppings were gluten free and for each one we asked they said “i don’t think so” and woundnt check and responded in a rude tone. there was nobody behind us in line, they had one order ahead of us. it wouldnt have killed them to check for us but they refused

Their staff was pretty rude, there were only 3 customers in there, seems like it was not even rush hour, but still they sounded very rude in just general conversations nothing fancy simple order of boba milk tea. Also I asked to add mongo pop boba which was the worst ever mango pop boba I have tried absolutely tasteless. Taste of milk tea was good.

This place used to be pretty good, but now the drinks just taste like sugar. Just ordered a milk tea with 30% sugar, and I swear it's the sweetest beverage I've ever had. I threw it away. Can't imagine what 100% sugar must be like, it's probably lethal. Why even have a sweetness scale if every option is too sweet to drink??
