The servers were not smiling and were grumpy when taking orders. I was ordering and pointing at the menu, and then one of them said, Alin dyan?! . They also just put our orders on the table carelessly. When we paid, we waited for the change but they did not even bother saying that they already put it on the table behind us. But overall, aside from the food, the rustic and quiet ambiance of the place is also good.
This place is just overtly super over-priced!!! Like their pack of pastillas, it was wrapped in a 2 inches wrapper well in fact the pastillas itself is just 1/2 inch! This is BUDOL at its finest!!! All of their products are over-priced!!! Not worth the money!!! There’s a lot of places you can buy worth of your hard-earned money!!! WILL NOT EVER COME BACK HERE!!!
Went to have merienda at Eurobake Cafe. A bit pricey but their servings our generous. The food is great. Service is ok. Wide range of pasalubong delicacies. Their famous pasalubong is inipit and ensaymada. Ample parking space.
If you are not used to grumpy and bored-of-my-everyday-routine attitude of sales persons or perhaps they are the owners. This place is not for you. We only bought pasalubong goodies. Nothing wow, except for the inipit and ensaymada.
While they are known for their pastries (especially inipit), there is a hidden café inside also—Café Eurobake. I ordered their Inipit Frappe (I forgot the exact name on their menu), and it indeed tasted like inipit with some added caramel. The ambiance in the café was also rustic and peaceful, and not noisy despite being next to the highway.
