Stopped for lunch on the way back to Lake Como from St. Moritz. Thought we might escape the outrageous restaurant prices in St. Moritz, however prices turned out to be equally absurd. I had a cold cut plate three types of cold cuts plus cheese and a small beer for about $35.00. It was a nice day so we sat outside and were swarmed with flies (did not seem to bother the locals . In the future, I shall really appreciate my cold cuts from Publix.
Food and service are excellent. Rooms in the Pöstli are good-sized and clean, managed by the Hotel Schweizerhaus.
Very good vitello tonnato, but you need to check the bill. We ordered 0.5L Pinotgrigio (28CHF after the wine menu) and were charged for 5x Fl. Grauburg for 40CHF. Regrettably for such a place.
