However I was super impressed by food we got. I've ordered steaksallad. And it tasted just super good!!! I really loved and enjoyed every beat of it
Searching for a cocktail bar we stumble into Savoy's hall, where according to legend Lenin once enjoyed a Smörgåsbord. Being a Saturday, our crowd of ten surprisingly easy found a table. There, we enjoyed their wide variety of beers and quality champagne by the glass. Moving on to the cocktails, we try a potpourri without being amazed, but then find their happy hour deal on “Hot and Stormy” (rum, ginger, lime, chili and stuff), or as we’d like to call it Bengt 57. The cocktail can best be described as a pot bellied, semi bald man in his late 50’s, in a dark green/brown acrylic tweed jacket. You get the seats next to him and continues your conversation with your friend, not being able to decide if to engage him in the conversation or not. Then Bengt suddenly leans over towards you, and tells you a dirty joke. Inappropriate or funny? A little bit of both you think, and can’t but let out a spontaneous nervous laugh. You continue to engage in conversation with Bengt, and realise that the more you have of him the funnier he gets! That’s “Hot and Stormy” for ya’! For those interested in something more cheeky, we recommend you try Bengt’s leopard jacket bearing wife Ann Louise 49 aka. Tequila Sunrise slightly younger and sweeter, but with a sting! The bartender messes up our bill, which almost ruined our good mood, but it all worked out in the end. If you’re ever around Malmö Central and in need for a drink Bengt always awaits you at Savoy!
The food was nice in both it's taste and it's presentation, but it was incredible expensive for that amount of food. You pay like double the regular price just because you are eating at the famous Savoy Hotel. Below picture is a two persons serving.
Although not inexpensive, this restaurant is like the Savoy when it comes to breakfast. They offer a fantastic spread of food and you can have as much as you like. Trust me, you won't be let down.
The service at this restaurant was excellent and the food was delicious. They even offered me extra French fries with my steak, which I appreciated. Overall, the entire experience deserved a 5-star rating. If you happen to be staying at the same hotel as celebrities like Cliff Richards, Lenin, and Swedish royalty, you can expect top-notch service and much more at Savoy. I highly recommend it!
