Przekaż informację zwrotnąMy husband and I had a very nice meal here two nights ago. We took the starter with speck and cheese. It was an abundant portion and very nice indeed. As a main I had the cordon bleu. It was really delicious and was accompanied by a peperonata and potatoes with speck. The portion was so huge that I had difficulty finishing it. My husband chose the padella tirolese. It was again an enormous portion and was very tasty. The prices are excellent considering the portions and quality. We found the two waitresses to be very nice (the owner a bit less)
First of all if you're in for a challenge try find a restaurant that serves after 20:00 in Burgusio. After being suggested to go to the Schlossbar because the kitchen normally closes at 9pm we arrived there not later than 8.15pm. This man which we assume was the owner or cook was sitting at the entrance with his friend talking. Didn't say even hello. After 5min waiting at the entrance he asked us what we were looking for and when we kindly ask if they could serve some food he replied in a quite rude tone that he didn't cook anymore tonight. And... That was it! Not another suggestion, not even goodbye. Therefore we cannot comment on the food of this place but honestly... After this I don't really care how good could it be. To be rude is unforgivable.
We went along on day 3 of the 3 day fish/seafood extravaganza hosted by the Restaurant Schloss Bar in Burgeis situated in The Vinschgau/Val Venosta region. Firstly the bar/restaurant is very cozy and warm, with lots of nice features and pictures capturing some of the history of the building, I believe it goes back to 1836, so lots of classic wood beams. We had a sumptuous starter of mixed fish and seafood, then some delicious mussels and then my wife had sea bass with a red curry, I had a mixed platter of grilled fish/seafood and we were both very impressed with the quality of our food. The wine was excellent as was the service, we genuinely couldn’t fault anything and we can be rather fussy and particular. Well done Restaurant Sclossbar, we shall definitely return.
