Crystal Cafe - Maldon

Ordered a breakfast suited to what i wanted. Smaller than the set breakfast's on the menu. Charged £1.50 more. Toast had mould on it. Milk was off in the tea. The owner seemed more concerned with sitting on he's sofa and what was going on outside than the customers. Avoid.Bad atmosphere!

My partner, our young son, and I have visited this restaurant several times. They offer the best breakfast at a great price! We have never had any issues and the service has always been superb. I highly recommend this place to anyone.

We used to come here regularly on the weekends as it’s only local but we will never return again. I was served toast with blood on as the boy in the kitchen had cut his finger. As soon as I noticed I made sure to tell the manager. Because of this I then decided I didn’t want the breakfast anymore which I think anyone would do the same. But with that I was told ‘fine then’ by the manager and he took our plates away with no apology what so ever. Extremely disappointed and will not return again.

I stopped by yesterday morning for breakfast and enjoyed a delicious meal of sausage, bacon, eggs, chips, and black pudding. My stomach was full when I left. The service was very friendly and the value for the meal was outstanding.

While working in the area one day, I decided to try their food. It was delicious. The service was quick and the staff was very helpful. They were willing to accommodate any request. I would definitely return and highly recommend this restaurant.
