Buongiorno Buonasera - MALCESINE

The service is the worse we get in Italy! The waitress jokes about us in Italian with the other waitresses. The pizza is ok, no more. As a family, it was our worse restaurant experience in Italy.

In the middle of town, busy atmosphere, wait and be seated within a few minutes (if lucky) while you can browse the menu and view the plates being brought out to other guests. Even though it is in the middle of the town it has beautiful views to Monte Baldo. The restaurant was very busy, one table filled within a minute once someone leaves. For that kind of turnaround the service is attentive and effective. The food gluten free Pizza and salmon were very good, especially the gluten free Pizza (gluten free for an extra of 3 Euro) is definitely worth your wait and it comes in a special Aluminium tin to avoid contamination very thoughtful.

Local town cafe owner recommended the rooftop restaurant at Buongiorno Buonasera for a fine dining experience. We called mid afternoon and got a same evening table. We could not have imagined just how special it could be. Our host, Claudia, gave us amazing service throughout our 3 hours dining. She not only showed genuine interest in us but took time to explain details of where the ingredients of each course came from. The chef served up 3 amazing courses of food each dish giving flavours that were just delicious. For an evening of fine food, fabulous service and great views over the lake on one side and up the mountains on the other side this place cannot be beaten.

Great GF pizza. Served on separate aluminium plates. There are also GF pasta with all the extras in the menu. Love it!

As a very symptomatic cealiac, this place was amazing. They offer pizza and pasta, and staff seemed very knowledgeable. The pizza doesn’t have a separate oven, however they cook them in foil trays to prevent cross contamination, and this is how they are delivered, which I think is great! One of the best gluten free bases I’ve ever had. Usually you can tell when something is gluten free, but with this I absolutely couldn’t. Very reasonably priced too. Highly Recommend!
