Another semi-new drinking spot in Taft. Not the best view (right across a construction site of a rising condo) but windy and presko!!! (Polluted) air is everywhere! Cut your 4:15 class to go here and start drinking because it looks so much better while the sun's still up!! People just smoke, drink cheap beer, have meaningful (or meaningless) conversations here with other people they may have just met. It can be a peaceful at times—you can have a heart-to-heart talk with your best friend whom you haven't seen in a long time. But when people start getting drunk and playing edm, heart-to-heart talks are out of the question. It's in the second floor of a house (or apartment, I think?) so it's actually less accessible BUT more relaxed compared to the drinking place right below it, which is more crowded, especially on Thursday afternoons until the evening. The area is always crowded with people and cars because the road is narrow, plus SaBalcony is just one of the many drinking spots in the street. Expect to see or bump into upperclassmen here who just want to enjoy a couple of beers in peace.
