Having biked there from Sicamous, we were hot and hungry and we're disappointed the cook was away shopping in town but we decided to wait for her return in the gazebo outside. We were treated to nachos and homemade salsa too tie us over. The 30 min wait was well worth it as the the Blackened Chicken wrap with chilli spices and the Caesar salad with her homemade dressing was superb. My husband had the Greek Chicken Pita wrap with Greek Skinny fries both of which he raved about. We will definitely be going back again and again.
We had been planning on going to "The Burner" for the patio, but it was closed. How fortunate, because we discovered Wild. I loved the eclectic décor, the food was outstanding and the owner cooked some excellent veggie meals for the Vegetarians in the group. I just can't say enough about this lovely little spot. She also made up some great refreshing drinks, for a hot afternoon. We will definitely be going back, next time we are in the area. Would be nice to have more space for seating outside, but then I would have missed all the quirky decorations.
Great food, great atmosphere, great service, neat decor! The fries are really good. Their hamburgers and sandwiches, especially the tuna cheddar melt, are also really good!
As a guy who spends a great deal of time on the road I find myself making sure I stop here as frequently as I can. The food is outstanding and in my opinion some of the best to be had anywhere in the Shuswap area. The staff are awesome as is the funky charm of this hidden gem. It is the food that will keep you coming back for more however with a number of unique and delicious items to be had as well as some classics with a twist.
Stopped here for breakfast while on a motorcycle trip. A little tough to find as it is tucked in beside a no name gas station and it is not very well advertised from the road. Anyway, upon entering, the decor is fairly spartan but this where the shortfalls stop. The staff are super friendly. We had a great breakfast and the prices were quite reasonable. If you don't mind sitting on a picnic bench while eating your eggs, then this place will work for you.
