SAGARMATHA - Malakoff

We was in groupe for dinner we had ordered various plats all of we liked it they prepare same day and service fresh food with politely so its good to be there while we have time .

What a great Nepalese Restaurant. I came across this whilst looking for somewhere to have dinner close to my hotel. Many choices on the menu. As I'm not a keen Chile man I went for the mildest dishes. Onion Bhaji, followed by Chicken Korma, Matar Pulao (Rice) and Gulab Jamun for dessert. Extremely tasty. A half bottle of Buzet Merlot hit the spot too. Total bill was about €40 which for Paris is good value

I stayed in a hotel not far from the restaurant. I saw it while running around the block and thought that this might be a good choice for dinner as it offers tibetian, nepalisian and indian food I think they are from Nepal as the name is how Mount Everest is called in Nepal. I had a very good meal, a tibetian starter which showed that you don 't need meat when you are in an indian or familiar restaurant. Also the main nepalisian course was fine. The wine and coffee were better and cheaper than in most french places. All in all I had a very fair bill for an outstanding meal that I had to apply some good tip to not feel ashamed.. Funny:I had a tibetian bread called Timo which tasted like the german Dampfnudel . I was shocked that there was no other people around but maybe it was because it was Tuesday. Nevertheless it is a must to go there if you are around.

We've been asking for spicy dishes. often to bet on is deceived, but this time we were very happy dishes full of flavour and the heat which we are used to in british curries.

Very welcoming and excellent food. The atmosphere is very typical.
