Dec's At The Marina - Málaga

We loved this bar. Whilst there are hints of it being Irish owned, the staff thankfully are Spanish speaking. I am in Spain and want to mix with Spanish speakers. The drinks were good value, the bar was comfortable. Easy music and fabulous welcoming service by Alex and Pilar! Muchísimas gracias

I visit Decs whenever I am in Benalmadena. The staff are always friendly and the prices for being situated at the Marina are very good. Good variety of drinks. A great place to sit and people watch

Friendly bar. Good entertainment. Great place to watch world go by. Football on and blankets on chairs to keep you warm when it got chilly at night. Highly recommended.

This became our nightly rendezvous for our golfing group. The bar while small, had plenty of seating. It broadcast premier football etc on two televisions either side of the bar. The bar staff were extremely friendly and helpful and made it a very welcoming place. The only negative is the fact that it is on the side of a passageway to the port which resulted in much passing of visitors through the tables. Well worth a visit.

When you visit this bar on an evening the area that during the day is an open smoking area is walled off with shuttering but is still allowing people to smoke in there. This means that if you go in as a non smoker there is no real area to get away from the smokers. I pointed this out to the barmaid and she didn't really seem bothered that I thought the area should be non smoking when closed off on an evening. apart from that one small problem I would have given the bar 5 stars.
