Maketu Pies

I just had your butter chicken pie and it was delicious. Actually had pieces of chicken in it! The pastry was of a superior standard to any other supermarket pie. After exhaustive tests I declare Maketu the best pie to be found at the supermarket. Most pies are loaded with gravy with no meat to be detected and plonk pastry. I will be a regular consumer. Keep up the fabulous standard.

Just ate a Beef Cheese pie. Awesome tasting gravy, nice soft oozing cheese the pastry lightly browned, light crisp. This takes me back years to first bake

My husband and I love these pies . Not the sea food ones but only because we don't eat sea food. Five stars well earned we say. Only wish we could buy by the box to keep in the freezer.

Pretty good! Sadly Maketu's droppig population isn't helping Maketu Pies' pie domination.More non meat for their local vegetarians would be a great boost to Maketu Pies. These pies are a trip to Heaven, on Earth! A must visit for any pie loving historians!

This brand makes my favourite pie, smoked fish. So yummy. Pastry is perfectly crunchy without being too flaky.
