Izakaya Kikufuji - Makati

The food is good but the service is poor. We waited for almost an hour to get our order. We are almost done eating before they served the cali maki. The crew is not friendly and accommodating. Such a disappointment.

I like that the food is authentic Japanese, but the service is CRAP. waitresses are always unpleasant. (and that's putting it nicely) Just went there and there was a long line to get in as usual. Lady at the reception was b*tchy, and acted like she was too busy to listen to my inquiry when all she was doing was Facebook-ing on her phone. I was a loyal customer for years, but I've had enough of those terrible waitresses. There are plenty of other authentic Japanese restaurants now that I'd rather spend my money on. *Edited to say that I ended up at Nihonbashitei. Got the last free parking spot, was able to order quickly, and got my food within 5 minutes of ordering. (mostly sushi 1 grilled item) Very, very efficient. They deflected the bad mood kikufuji put me in.

I’ve been eating at this restaurant for years. Now I can say that the Quality of their food is already bad. They serve frozen solid Salmon sashimi beef is like rubber their, Low quality rice Service is dependent some are good but the others are rude They use to serve appetiser along with the lunch set now you have to ask for it. Sad that there are a lot of competitors. They’ll loose their waitress You’re better of eating at other Resto.
